ebs normaly get two carrots tonight she has got..... Parnips,Carrots, Apples And Swede In Her Dinner, A Big Swede Hanging Up In Her Stable.. A Whole Pack Of Mints In Her Haynet And Apples In Her Water Buckets + 2 more bales of straw so bed is lovely
think thats enough?

am i the only on that spoils them chrismas eve? i felt bad cause i only got her one thing for chrismas x

Yes I have just walked the dog up to the field and thrown out extra hay as I know I shall be running 2 hours late in the morning, I want to know they have plenty hay untill I get there. I also had a bag of apples and shared them out and they demolished 2 packs of polo,s.

Dorey has carrots, apples, extra chaff and a haynet with more hay than straw (although, she's miffed off that it's still mixed, so started on her other net first!!!)

As everyone knows, donkeys kneel down at midnight on Christmas Eve and all my neds are clearly closely related to donkeys, so they all have a mince pie in their Christmas morning breakfast (2 shetties have half a one each) and again in Boxing Day brekkers, to use up a pack of 6. Have to tell everyone this because my YO brings the neds in in the morning and has threatened to take pix of my neds' mince pie brekkers and post it on here!!!!!

I wouldn't normally bother as she's a horse and doesn't know it's xmas, but my sister sent some gourmet horse treats (swede and aniseed flavour!) so I'll try her with a couple of those (have a feeling she might not like them as she doesn't like real swedes)

OP my pony is spoilt like yours

he gets carrots, apples, suede, turnips, broccoli, parsnips and sweet potatoes in his dinner!!!

i give him about triple the amount of hay he gets normally, a massive bed that he needed a ladder to get into! and a load of apples in his water and all his lickers filled up and his treat ball filled to the brim with treats and carrots!

A can of German Black beer each split between their last night and this morning feed - only because we had them in the house and neither OH nor I drink it!

Mine are so fed up witht he weather and lack of riding atm that Toffee didnt even want her Swede. So I ended up chopping it up and throwing it amongst their hay. They had half a guiness each last night.

Mine always gets a bottle of guinness on Christmas day, I don't think that one variation from the diet plan makes that much difference, he really loves it and I enjoy watching him love it. It's part of the whole Christmas tradition for me, the dogs get turkey giblets and the horse beer!
