it is -15 here just now, at 11am
dont know what it went down to over night but for the first time our car wouldnt start properly this morning and kept stalling, hubby says the cold has done something to the diesel.
my 2 live out, with access to a stable, and they are standing in , or just outside it all the time. My circulation isnt great and i get reynaulds and chillblaines v easily. Im wrapping up with thermals and 2 sets of gloves. have just ordered snow-boots. Problem is, even our back door is freezing up and cant get the handle down
water that im carrying out to the horses is freezing within hours
my dogs (collies) are in internal kennels in a modern building but it isnt heated - we have fleeces on them and they can cuddle up together on vetbed up on raised benches and we've put in some old sleepingbags, but ive been out twice this morning with water already. they actually look very uncomfortable walking on the snow/ice as well at this temperature.
and the mucking out/poo picking. Is anyone else struggling? I just cant get it done as its frozen solid, ad with my 2 standing in the same place all the time its a mess
