I have tonne of Sol's tack etc that I really should sell but I don't want to list it all on Ebay for it not to sell for a decent(ish) amount of money ?

So have you sold things on ebay recently ? If yes whats sold the best ?

Nope not really but half of it is pretty much new and i'm never going to use it , seems a shame to just leave it sat here

I don't know, there seems to be lots of saddles not selling or selling for very little (with exception of the Butets and Devoucoux's). I've been noticing alot of the good name side saddles up on Ebay are relists or the ones which have reasonable buy it nows, are not selling as well.

It sucks as I have a nearly new saddle to sell and don't want to get 50p for it on Ebay!

i am selling a couple of old bits at the mo, and they have the most interest. my prem equine eventing boots are also being watched by quite a few.

the numnahs aren't doing so well though.... even though they are brand new!!

i am only selling a few old bits as i want a new pair of Prolite boots for one of my boys.

oh - and i sold a nearly new saddle the other day.... it did ok, got almost what i wanted.

I have had a fab time on Ebay recently!

I sold an old Musto (year old, used with broken zip) for more than I paid for it when it was new

I also sold two waistcoats for the same as I paid for them, so pretty chuffed!

And....I bought a used breast girth for £20 last week, and was in a bidding war with 8 other bidders. I won...but when the item came through it turned out that it was a cheaper make than the seller had implied, and I could have bought it brand new for £14....

So yes, Ebay is buzzing at the moment

I could do with selling lots too but can't be faffed doing all the write ups etc so I'm going to list it all on sites like Saddle Up and Stable Ad and our local Buy-Sell. It's soul destroying when good quality English tack goes for pence and then you get hefty charges taken out too. I'm almost tempted to take it and have a table stall at Beeston; at least then you have the chance to haggle!

been watching some saddles recently and they don't seem to be making the money I thought they would.

Smaller bits and pieces are doing better.

Just sold a saddle- nice english leather one with a matching girth....only got 65 quid for it, but to be fair it was taking up space, doesnt fit any of our horses and I just wanted it out of the way......that cash will come with me to Rideaway at the weekend to buy other stuff I dont actually 'need'!!

Can you not just hold onto it in case things change in the future (im sucha hoarder!)

I just bought a beautiful bridle off ebay, need to sell a rug on there...must do that!

I've just sold some small things on eBay and I don't think I got as much for them as I would have done 6 months ago.

As an example I Sold a Brands New Snuggy Turnout hood for £35 and a Thorowgood (54") synthetic girth that's was only used twice for about £2.

The well used items actually seemed to make more money which is strange!

I always start everything at 0.99p and they usually sell for decent prices but not this time.

Thanks everybody

I think i'm going to write a list and then wait and see if they have reduced listing days soon ...

I'm usually a hoarder but some of the stuff I am never going to used (IE a full brick red lycra body suit !

Maybe the study is going to stay full for a bit longer...

Have four saddles, a Newmarket striped wool exercise sheet (too short for my long lady, so not even been used boo hoo), and a flurescent exercise sheet. Not to mention the horse box! Note: the horse box is not in the study lol
