Are you still in LW turnouts or in MW now?

Both of mine are hunted clipped and are in 200g medium weights without necks (well actually Charlie might be in 300g as I can't tell what weight his Duo Liner is!).

Not in rugs at all yet! Although my lad is in his stable most of the time as he was diagnosed with mechanical laminitis in one leg some time ago. But he is allowed out now for a wee while each day but he will not have a rug on until his winter coat is through as he can always pop back into his stable if he gets chilly.

Out 24/7 no clip and in a LW at night, although she had it on all day today for the first time as it was cold!

Nope my girly has been in a medium weight for a while now. Hairy pony however is still in lightweight, but she looks like a teddy bear already

My unclipped TB has been wearing a LW turnout (no fill at all) during the day just for the past 2-3 days, it has definitely turned colder around me! At night he was in a MW with neck cover, but last night he started coming in at night so just has a LW stable rug until clipped

Yes and they are 'indoors' in very 'open plan' stabling and a turnout barn with three sides (and a roof). Come the colder weather, I will put LW stable rugs under the LW turnouts. When they go out, they go out in these same combinations.

I like to wash my rugs regularly, so couldn't cope with filled turnouts.

yes mare is in l/w still during day with a winter coat as she feels the cold being slightly older and arab x welsh she's dropped condition already, so had to change onto winter feed to help her maintain condition...damn winter is so expensive!

Fully clipped boy wore MW with neck today as it was very windy (fields on top of a hill), in at night with MW stable no neck. Other boy with Bib and belly clip wore rug with 100g filling today (no neck) and was actually cold when he came in this evening so has LW stable on tonight rather than his normal fleece. Until today the 100g was on fully clipped boy and rainsheet on other - tip of the day always buy horses that wear the same size rug

Mine are in lightweights overnight and today all day as I felt sorry for them. They're out 24/7 and not clipped yet. The other reason for keeping the rugs on is that with the weather turning cold, they are seriously fresh at the moment and keep biting and play-kicking so the rugs offer a little protection
