Perhaps I shouldn't post this now as there is still another day of AF's tomorrow but after that they are all finished soooo...

who's qualified for the finals and at what level? Have we got HHO'ers at every level?

I've qualified Novice Open and Medium Open. (On different horses.)

Perhaps we should have a HHO party at Hartpury in April!!

Well we're not sure yet as the class was split and Louis came second...we were a bit confused though as there were so many more horses in the first section (our section) than the second section? I hope Louis does qualify though.

I spoke to the other Jane! and whilst I was warming up asked for comments and she said more from behind, quicker reaction etc.. so I asked for another gear..transitions transitions... luckily we got it and came 2nd in music.. now not sure whether I qualify???

Is this an AF Music class or normal music class??Der!!! Never done music before and so now totally confused!!! How do you qualify for "normal" dressage to music if this was not?

How many go through? I did not get any "invite" as such?? Or am I just be a "red head"??

Well, CYS Molly and Loopy Louis did a fab test and both came joint second... CYS Molly it was lovely to speak to you and I am sorry I may have been a bit vague at times... frantically waiting for scores etc!!! Your boy is gorgeous and you should be very proud of him. You did HHO's proud!!! Loopy Louis did not see you to speak to, but your horse too is so well put together... also my fav. colour.... chestnut!! Well done, although I bet you are itching to get back on and ride!!!

Jane and Jane.. as usual it was great to chat to you both and get an insight into judging and what you are expecting, and what we should be aiming for. Jane you rode a lovely test and if you need help with Mixmeister just PM me.... once you start you kinda get addicted!!! Well, I did!!! They liked my ended and thought it quirky, but alas the Judge did quitely say to me less lyrics.....

Blast, just looked at the Rule book for you... if the class is split, only first one goes through... then again there are wild cards.. but unsure of the scores for other AF??? Ummmm... split was a little uneven though dont you think??? About 25 in first and only 15 or so in second... unsure how they did this??? I hope they take into account that the first one was soooo big and take you and CYS Molly to the Nationals... Fingers crossed

2nd is amazing! I think you have qualified...it's normally the top two (over 62%) in each class unless the class is split. CSYMolly pointed you out but you looked busy so I didn't come and distract you

Our yard is just down the road from Patchetts (5mins) so we were home quickly

Yes it was totally unfair in my opinion! The first section was about 3 times the size! I so hope that they both go through (CSYMolly and Rachelskeff) as their scores were so good! If not I jolly well hope they both get Wild cards...i'm so hoping for them as I was at the finals last yr and it was such an amazing experience!
 
Oh what a shame... ummm I am normally "buisy doing nothing" and frantically waiting for scores!! Nerves I think!!! Next time just come and distract me... it may help me!!! I LOVED the music class...... I want to do more now!! Albeit I think less lyrics...more computer skills required to get rid of vocals!!!

I love your boy by the way.......he was gleeming and your rider was obviously very very happy!!!!!!! Too Right too!!
 
Ahhhh thanks so much....I love him so much! He just makes me so proud. I can't wait to ride again I am itching to get on (but I promised my hubby I'd stop riding at 4 months preggers!)! Rachel was so happy, she's doing so so well with him and they qualified for the ele regionals 2 wks ago. I'm so happy to have someone like her as Louis obviously really likes her.

We would love to try some music too, my trainer has recommend Rach and Lou have a go at some. She has a lesson with Anna Ross in a few weeks so we're going to speak to her about it.

Massive congrats to you again and I will def come say hi next time (just look out for the fat preggers woman!)!
 
Ok I am going to keep my fingers and legs and everthing crossed for them... well as long as I can anyways!!!

It is going to be at Hartpury too which is a FAB place... long way to go but well worth it.... Only know because my last horse was in the "rehab" place there so visited every weekend for 6 months!!!... not sure how you can find out other AF results........then again because of the large entry in first class they may allow 2 to go through.... maybe call Antonia she may shed some light on it for you???
 
LOL!! Are you woddling yet then??!!! Anna Ross will be a good inspiration... I believe she is doing a clinic for Dressage to music....... you should do it...it is soooooooo much fun!!!

My YO/trainer said it's normally every 1 in 10 that goes through so we're hoping that they may have got through. I'm up there tomorrow to watch YO/trainer in the Adv Medium so i'll ask Antonia then. I'll keep u posted

Not Waddling too much as yet...I thank god haven't expanded too quickly tee hee! I'm 5 months now though so I recon I'll be waddling very soon! Ohhh the clinic sounds good! I'll look into it!
 
Freestyler you will have qualified for the music regionals today as the music class was a qualifier. (just look in the schedule and it says Equissage Q).

To qualify for the music you need to be 1st to 3rd with 60% or more and it passes down the line if any of the first 3 have already qualified.

You will get a letter from BD just like for the ordinary regionals and will have qualified for the winters at Patchetts in February. From there you can qualify for the music finals at the winter champs. (There are no summer regionals for music.)

Well done I thought it was fab!!

Unfortunately this is only at Prelim and Novice. Elementary and above is still the top 2.

Ok just looked it up, that's the case for the prelim and Novice but for the ele and above it's only the top two that qualify.
 
Just got in from a family meal out.......how sad am I coming straight on here before I retire to my pit?!!!

Anyway, yes, Jlav is quite right FREESTYLER, providing you scored 60% or more you are now qualified for the music semis. Hurrah!!!

And to CSYMolly and Rachelskeff/ Katiejaye I'll keep everything crossed for you for the wild cards.

Ohhhhh I can only hope! Still thinking about the icecream...thinking an apple may be healthier but ice cream would be soooooo much yummier...plus it's what the baby's really craving!! He he!

The music today was just a normal music qualifier it just happened to be held at a show which also had the Area Festival.
