Unhappy bunny.
My NF gelding is prone to or has everything illness or ailement....has severe sweet itch, prone to random lameness, prone to laminitis.....AND prone to mud fever. I do, however, like him to live like a normal horse so even through the last 2 days of heavy rain has been turned out during the day.
Brought him in this evening to find mud fever in 3 feet :'( All my hard work failed
So, can anyone tell me what they use to prevent and/or treat it?
Also, would you suggest clipping legs so I can keep clean and dry properly, or keep legs on and not be able to dry?
Any help/advice appreciated!
