Hi all,
was a Burghley this last weekend on the hunt for a new pair of everyday boots (have to be brown!) and settled on the Ariat Bromont tall in chocolate.
Had them fitted and remarked that they seemed to come up tall, but the sales person said that they drop and soften off - she said they were the right fit for me (size 6, regular calf and I'm not partic. short in the leg).
Anyway, got them home and first ride out, they have skinned the crease/inside of my knee. Have worn them a few more times and seem to be getting a bit better, but when I go up steps etc, they do limit my movement and are still rubbing my knee, so it's not healing. I'm not a wuss (!), so will persevere, but just wondering how much they will drop/soften off in peoples' experience, as I would prefer not to have a perpetual scab where my knee bends!
Bit annoyed that the sales person said they were the correct fit......but love them in every other way so hoping they come good?
