Birthday approaching!

But i dont want my OH to spend a fortune as such!
Ive found some cheaper than elswhere - but its a wide fitting?

How wide do they come up?
I have pretty standard width feet - i like my socks though!

Also - are they worth the money!
I love my ariat joddy boots and chaps - but its a lot of money!

Help!

Hiya, I have the standard fit and very skinny calves and they are tight on me. they are also tight on the feet so if you like your socks buy a size large than normal.

VERY worth the money, I adore mine and would recommend them to anybody.

Shop around as on most websites they are £210 but i got mine for £150 from a local tack shop!

I couldnt live without mine but i always go for ariats they are very supportive, comfy, warm and everyone always says " ooooowwwwww i love your boots ! " he he

I love mine

Love mine too. Although my experience is a bit different re the sizing - I think I have pretty standard feet/calves and the standard fit is perfect on me. They are a bit tight when new but quickly mould to your leg. Couldn't be without them now

I had to buy some very begrudgingly, after I left my Mountain Horse posh leather boots out and the dog ate them! I was also in a rush as needed some for hunting the next day, so went to the local saddlery and I liked them the most out of what they had (and I got the insulated ones).

I LOVE them. They look fab but also I find they are so soft and supple that you can really feel your horse's sides through them. Wouldn't be without them now, awesome boots. Thanks dog!

I love mine,
I have the wide fitting and I have very fat calf (so much so that it's often difficult to get off the peg boots to fit) - the wide on me are snug but do up relatively easily so from my experience I have found them a generous fit.

They sell at 2 main prices-£210 for insulated and £199 for non-ins. You will be lucky to find insulated now as Ariat sold out before xmas, but non-ins have arrived.

The Wide and reg is on the calf not the foot, when fitted to you they should be very snug as they are designed to stretch.

Also they come up quite tall, being a soft leather they will drop quite quickly but if really too high wear with heel raisers to start with.

I convinced my sister to buy some last year and they now live in my car

I have the standard insulated and they are a bit tight when you first wear them, it took several weeks for them to stretch but after that they are so comfortable I wear them practically every day. However the leather on my left boot has split at the stitching so I am going to take them back this week end.
I have had them nearly a year.

Love them, they are the first riding boots I ever bought and wear them all year. I have skinny legs and found that the regular fitted me perfectly. They do have a stretchy bit if leather by the zip to accomadate extra.

I have the insulated ones and find that my feet are warm in winter but they dont get too hot in summer.

Im tempted to get a pair in brown as well
