I need help! I'm eyeing up new boots as the lining in my current ones is starting to rip and they are no longer waterproof, so I'm getting chilly feet!

I want to be able to hack/muck out/walk the dog etc. in them. Which should I go for?

I voted something else as I absolutely love Ariat Grasmeres.

I've never had conistons but I did have glaciers years ago. The glaciers were good but I just prefer the grasmeres.

It usually takes me 3yrs to wear a pair beyond being able to make them look presentable and I'm pretty hard on boots. I do this kind of mental arithmetic to justify their price tag ha ha

I had a pair of Grasmeres, but they only lasted me a year, so wanting to try something different!

I did love them, but they didn't last for me!

I have had both, sold my conistons as they were too long for me and the zips went :(. Still have my glaciers but I can only get them on with a boot horn so if I know I need to take them on and off I need to remember to take it with me!

To be honest I use my muck boots more now...

Grasmeres mangled my achilles, weird as generally ariats fit me well but they just didn't.
I've just bought Conistons but the leather version and they seem v comfy... they are my Xmas present to replace exhausted dubarrys and I can't wait to wear them ?

I love the look of the leather ones, but they are above my price range- enjoy your lovely new boots!

I have just bought my second pair of Berwicks. The first ones I had five years and the sips have just gone so decided on a new pair rather than replace the zip. I had Conistan prior to these and Berwicks are far superior on fit

I'm just starting to wear my 2nd pair of grassmeres when its wet. I brought them 14 months ago to do that winter. However my 2012 pair are still warm enough this winter, but are now sadly no longer waterproof and are cracking badly. But, they have done sterling service.
I do live in mine through winter, yard, field, ride and dog walk, however I do thoroughly clean them weekly and treat them.

I had a pair of glaciers for 7 years before they wore out! I did dog walking, yard duties, riding and shopping in them! They coped with everything and anything I could throw at them! I now have conistons as the laces on the glaciers used to annoy me having to loosen them to get them off! The zips on conistons are so much easier for on and off! Love both pairs for comfort and the glaciers were perfect after I broke my leg and I could adjust them to fit depending how swollen my leg was and it also gave my ankle support whilst healing.

I have Glaciers, and love them. I’ve had them for years and they still clean up well.
I also have Grasmeres, but they’ve not been to the yard. Much harder to clean. And not as comfy.
Never tried the Conistons.

I prefer grasmeres, they last me 4 or 5 years. I had the conistons, but the zips broke after about a year, so I try to avoid boots with zips.
