Ariats wearers!

Evening all,

Does here own a pair of ariat grassmeres and ariat bromont boots? I want to order some bromont boots but not sure on sizing, do they come up the same as the grassmeres? I am a size 5 normally but in my grassmeres I am a 4.5, are the bromont just as generous or on the smaller side? Worried about the calf widths

Found some in the sale online so don't want to wait for the weekend to go and try some!

I'm usually a 5 sometimes a 6, but I have to wear a 4.5 in Bromonts.

I took the same size in bromonts as grasmeres.

I don't have bromonts but have grassmeres and paddock boots as well as clogs and they are all generously sized.

bromonts will not fit my calves.

I'm the same size in both. Love both. I think you can get a wider calf size in the bromonts - the size guides are accurate.

My advice would be to find a place where you can try them on. My last experience trying to order Ariats (H2O Telluride boots) online was not very good. I was trying to replace old Tellurides with new ones, knew the old size was a 7. New boots with 7 on the label arrived only to be hugely too large. I had to send them back repeatedly to get a smaller size to try. Clearly, their sizing had changed hugely on the exact same model of boot over 3-4 years. Thankfully, the online retailer was patient and kept exchanging, but all the extra postage added up enough so that I didn't save anything at all vs. buying in a shop.

I'm the same size in both. Love both. I think you can get a wider calf size in the bromonts - the size guides are accurate.

You can definitely get different calf sizes, also lengths so would advise trying in store if possible

Yes wider calves available, still don't fit essentially you do really need to try them on.

Supsup I have had old and now new style tellurides (as replacements from ariat as the linings had gone) I've found they are the same- and have the same size in my 4yo grasmeres and think my extremes are the same.

I have bromonts but has gone half a size down as my new pair are non insulated and my old insulated ones were bit big for me

Actually, now that I think of it, it was the Terrain boots (i.e. the lighter, non-waterproof version) I had the size problems with. After that experience, I bought my new Tellurides at YHL where I could try them on, and they were the usual size 7. Still, very odd. Obviously, my feet have not magically shrunk to a size 5 all of a sudden, so IMO, something was off with the sizing on those Terrains.

Thanks all, I have risked it as found them so much cheaper, if they don't fit will send them back and pop to the tack shop
