Yes, if you post a video you do have to expect some kickback.

However, there was some real drivel posted (a couple which were in fact quite personal), Armas knows his reaction was over the top, hopefully he will learn from it.
 
Oooh I miss all the good stuff! Didn't see what happened, although got an idea of what was going to happen when the thread appeared in SB.

I posted good things on his thread in question, I like that trainer on the horse, however he does always come across as rather fishing for compliments., as, I guess, do a lot of us. I agree that you have to take the good with the bad and try and not bother with those that wind you up (can't say I always succeed myself!)

There was a thread about his children and the troubles they had been through that attracted criticism, and he reacted quite badly on that too.

On a forum with thousands of viewers, you're always going to get some that don't like/agree with you. He has done v well - horsey males get a lot of adoration on here, had he been female people would have been pecking at him long ago!

If Armas decided to enlist someone else to school his horse up to a certain level, surely that is his perogative? Furthermore, if schooling his horse up to that level was beyond his capabilities and he had continued to try to do it himself and as a result created an unhappy horse with issues... well, wouldn't HHO have jumped on the bandwagon then?!:rolleyes: There would have been outrage that he should have sought a professional for the job:rolleyes:

Only damned if a particular comment hits a very raw nerve and you throw your toys out of the pram and post a bullish thread about one particular poster days after the original event. Stewing much?
 
My problem wasnt the video as didnt even watch it. Didnt think it was right he picked out one poster of many who disagreed with training style and started new thread as bad poster award (or some such wording).

tbf to A.. i thought at first he was a first class flacid penis.. then i got to know him a bit ... (mind out of gutter perlease:p) and hes actually alright, and he really does care about that horse and try his best for him .

No I agree, aside from this he has been a decent bloke and was very kind to me once. This outburst aside am sure he will be back to his PLACID self and he does love his boy.

Saw the thread and the video and I'm not very informed about these things, so didn't really have an opinion. (Very pretty horse though :D) But as someone said your not going to agree with everyone, so OP will have to deal with the not so nice comments coming his way.
Dare I say it, you have to develop a thick skin when posting on here, some people can be quite blunt :O most of you are lovely though :D
 
His thread about the 'dumbest poster' was completely out of order and I'm not surprised he's been banned. Pretty nasty stuff.:(
 
Have a look at Day 4 of training posted in video vault. Armas doesn't look 100% behind? He seems short in walk....

I started watching, but I have to say 17 odd mins, when I saw how long it was I turned it off... but I will have another look, incidentally, on the FB page, I tried clicking on the day 2 video (to see if it was any shorter) but all I got was a black screen and some writing about copywrite) has it been removed?

Just had a quick peek at some bits... I didnt think the walk or the trot looked to bad, and I love how still the riders hands are... god I would kill for such quiet hands:( but I agree that he (armas) looks short behind, but to me it is significant in canter
 
Well I think he has shown himself in his true colours admirably on his FB page. Glad France has got him TBH. Oh and agree with Angelish. Baaaaaaaaaa
 
I never saw the 'dumbest' thread that was pulled but from his comments on his public profile on FB (does he realise everyone can read that?) it sounds like a really mean spirited thread....talk about bullying!

If Armas is reading this I think much future strife will be avoided on all sides if he clearly labels his posts. He should either ask for CC in which he shouldn't be offensive to people who say things he does not want to hear or he should just post on how pretty his horse in, perhaps explicitly saying no CC, and then everyone who is so inclined can admire how clean and long his horse's mane is.
 
He isn't the only one that comes across badly on his facebook page - I'm really not very easily offended at all but thought the comment about 'happy clappy one horse owners' from the OP of this thread (i believe) was really quite mean.
 
Can't say he really ever appealed to me, seem to just want ego-boosting. Think his fb page shows his true side after all.

He'll be back in 10 days to try and lure someone to his house again :rolleyes:
