Got back from a two week holiday today and had arranged with a friend to come up and ride with me tomorrow which I was really looking forward to.

I was going to ride Charlie who has been off work for nearly 8 weeks and she was going to ride my loan horse Louie (we were only planning a 45 minute walk). Didn't want to go out on my own as Charlie was going through a Nappy stage before his time off so don't want him to get back into that habit.

Typically I have just had a phone call from Yard owner to say that Louie has lost a shoe!

Arrgg, Why couldn't he have lost it whilst I was away, at least then I could have arranged for the farrier to come out before I was back (it will take me about two weeks to get hold of him now!) I think Louie heard the word 'work'

Doug has been so naughty for the last two weeks! He knocked my friend out, bolted, and bronked for england

Another Rant....You've changed your name, I'm easily confused you know, it will take me ages to get used to that

Had a great holiday thanks, now looking forward to getting Charlie fit, hopefully his bloods will come back clear next week and then we can crack on! I can't wait to take him round the stubble fields, feels like I haven't had a good canter for months!

Did you take him to the hunter trial thingy you had planned?

I will come and visit soon, we will have to arrange it, not sure L and L will be able to come though but we will see!

Ooo let me know how he is when you get the results hopefully after a long rest he will be a lot better now and you can start riding him again!

ahahaa, well, I was riding my friends horse and my friend was riding Doug in front having a little canter, I told her to be careful as he can throw in a good buck, instead he done 3 HUGE bronks and bolted

Friend fell off and was knocked out. That was a couple of days before hunter trials so I didnt go as he was being really dangerous

He seems okay now so hopefully will be doing some working hunter at the end of this month and then dressage in the winter.

Yes you must must must come and visit and L HAS to come she needs to ride the naughty pony!

hopefully he has got it all out of his system now!

The children where sent to there grandparents for most of the time I was away

but hopefully L rode her a couple of times before she went. I'm not sure if she had a lesson or not, will find out tomorrow when I go and see them all!

Don't even start me off ranting about my Laptop, I had to leave it for someone to use whilst I was away and now it's being really stupid
