I have arthritis and osteochondritis dissecans (sp?) In my right knee.
I also have a problem with my right ankle which the doctor, physio, specialist doesn't know what it is. They think the ligaments are not in the right place blah blah blah.
I have suffered with pain in my knee and ankle when riding for 2 years but didn't bother going to the doctors until about a year ago when I found out thats what I had.
Problem is it's getting worse not better, how do you cope if you have arthritis? My knee feels like it's burning when I ride.
I have been given pain killers etc which make no difference.
It's really getting to me to the point where its to painful to ride, I have danced sinse the age of 3 and have had to stop because my knee couldn't cope with dancing and riding. It's so annoying I'm only 18!
Any thought would be great
