Lottery win stylee. Most people fantasise about 'the perfect house'...that's for NORMAL people :p

I'll start -

Gently sloping fields with a fenced ditch surrounding.
Natural water supply
Track system with different surfaces (pea gravel, bark, sand) to walk on.
Post and rail fencing and high (non toxic) hedges.
Area with trees
Mixture of different grasses, plants and herbs

Yard area with large field shelter/barn.
Indoor, well ventilated stables with a high set tap inside each stable and a panel at back that slides out so you brush muck into a channel that can be pushed away, to a muck heap.

Easy access but no roads nearby.

Hot horse shower washroom and Solarium
Swimming pool
XC course
All weather gallops
Indoor school with retracting sides for warm weather.
Outdoor paddock
Lunging pen/round pen.
Heated tackroom and brew room where you can drink coffee in the midst of saddle soap smells :)

Did I miss anything?

I have just bought my perfect field..Not massive only three and a half acres of flat pasture with good meadow and herbs mix, split into three paddocks with post and rail fencing.. But i now have the lovely job of planning my stable yard...I'm going to go with four loose boxes with auto water,a secure tackroom and a haystore. The yard will be in a U shape next to a 40x20 sandschool. This is of course if the lovely planning people will allow it.This will be my lifetime dream...all thanks to my family.

Horse walker
Groom who is easy one the eye
Big shed for big lorry

I don't need a horsewalker with a track system.

Forgot about the big barn for the lorry - but then I would have a maahhhhoooosiuve, heated garage for all my American muscle cars ;)

Groom - why would I need a groom? I will be living at the yard.

Forgot, perfect hay fields and all equipment and storage for ace quality low sugar/carb hay. Men to stack it as well, personally selected. :D

We won't be paying him so he won't be subscribing to any unions! :D

ahhhhh sighhhh, got me daydreaming now.. perhaps we could let him talk a little so he can tell us how gorgeous we are!

well, if money's no object...
yard to be 5 mins from major road but in totally quiet countryside. (!)
a 20x60 arena
a 100 x 100 arena with full set of SJs and a jumping grid down 1 side jumpable from both directions.
a straight swimming pool like the one they showed on C4 just before Cheltenham.
a seawalker.
loads of lovely off-road hacking with big variety of xc fences dotted around.
gently sloping uphill gallops of a mile long with a fantastic surface.
lots of individual turnout paddocks all with their own shelters.
a little house for me and OH, a house for my friend to come and be my supergroom, and a big house to woo my trainer with...
a Ketterer.
heated rug room.
huge tackroom
industrial washing machine and dryer.
indoor school with viewing gallery that looks like a lounge!
15 20x20m stables. (enough for my horses, trainer's, groom's, and room for friends' too.)
wash box, solarium, farrier's box, etc.
hay and bedding storage barn far enough from stables to avoid being a fire hazard.
covered lorry storage.
that'd be a nice start, i'm sure i could add to it though!

Have a butchers at this place

:eek::eek::eek::cool::cool::cool:;)

the stables were going to be lightly air conditioned to prevent the horses being shocked by the transition to outside temps - until the grooms complained about having to work in the heat. Now all 300 stables are fully air-conditioned.

That is gross.....where are the fields? Reminds me of Lords cricket ground! YUK money cant buy taste I suppose.

What's a Ketterer?
Its one of those

Perfect yard...

Can I steal the Farmer's land who is next door to where I keep the horses now? I would add it to what I use now (which would also magically become mine :p ) and I'll need a bigger tack room as I'll be able to have a few more neds. I'd keep a few of his sheep too as they are handy for when you have excess grazing. ;)

Ah the 1968 Firebird..we has a black 6.6litre Pontiac Firebird with the T top,red leather interior and the Firebird sprawled over the bonnet...A real Smokey and the Bandit..My dad sold it because it was too wide for the Cornish lanes..

There's a 7th generation, 1995 Firebird in our town. I often find an excuse to drive down that road and look at her. My family just sigh :p
