Was meant to be taking baby Jay to Burghley HT on Sunday but that is cancelled.

3 closest arenas are only doing dressage which daughter doesn't want to do.

Local eventer trial is only running the dressage.

Another local HT will decide tomorrow whether to run or not (Grove n Rufford at Osberton)

I wanted to go on a funride on Sunday but couldn't as have got lorry troubles. Selfishly I was very happy to read today that it has been postponed

I really hope this isn't going to be how Summer turns out to be though

Might well doing it this weekend ! We are there both days but have a narrow steep hill to go down just to leave home so am hoping no snow at all.

Same here, we have a steep hill up the drive and into the village so if the lorry makes it that far we'll be doing well!

It's awfull.. My sons new horse vetting postponed cos poor horse wouldn't even walk straight in the blizzard we got 10 inch snow and 20 mph wind with the blizzard.. It's a wonder the horse wanted come out of her stable at all... I feel so sorry for the vet and yard owner, they been there all day doing vacs and teeth and they are frozen..

It's not even "proper" snow here, just wet and sludgy. Such a shame things are getting cancelled everywhere.

My B-I-Law was here yesterday, and he invited us to his daughters PICNIC to be held riverside - in ONE WEEK. I politely mentioned that I am not using my field atm, as it's just waterlogged, but nope, looks like the picnic will go on. Without me and hubs of course

How old is the daughter? I think they could do a great picnic by decorating their house to resemble outside and have it indoors with the heating on!

I've had enough to! I would KILL for an indoor school and a horse walker with a roof! My grey mare is YELLOW with poo stains and i really want to bath her but i'm not that evil! I'm struggling to find a saddle to fit her that I can afford, so lunging and long reinging is it and we're both bored sensless by it!

We've got mental blizzards up here - you guys are lucky if its JUST wet weather! No idea when I can next ride, let alone compete.
