Baby wipes for tack cleaning???

Is it ok? I have used them once and the grease comes of quickly. then I clean with tack cleaner and condition with Stubben. just wondering if the wipes are harmful to the leather?

I’m sure a saddler might have a mild fit, but I used to do a daily wipe off with baby wipes with no ill effect, then a weekly proper clean & condition.

I only don’t do it now given the eco spotlight on waste/plastics/oceans!!

yeah I've wiped off at a show etc occasionally but wouldn't do routinely because of the waste. a sponge and some slightly warm water does a good job, it's amazing the difference between warm and cold water for de-greasing.
