Just a brief update to ask for advice really.
Vet says no kissing spines but probably pain in the ligaments between the vertebrae causing the muscle spasms.
So he had steroid injections into his vertebrae today to ease the pain and inflammation. But the vet recommends I ride him in 48 hours! (thinking of ways to survive the bucking
) He still has muscle spasms and to be honest im not sure if he'll tolerate me up there just yet. Plus saddle etc needs to be rechecked and the physio hasnt seen him. I can see the logic - build up his muscle etc.
I have him all set to go for rehab livery, full turnout with physio treatment. The vet agreed with all this last week, now a different story and this changes things completely.
Do I keep him and ride? Even before the physio has seen him? Do I send him off for the summer, have the treatment and maybe get them to begin walk work?
