Badminton 2025

Should be a fabulous competition . How old is B.C now?
The * meaning “double entry” is that with Kentucky ? Or what?
 
A very exciting selection of entries! It's not far away now.
Anyone localish know how the ground is looking? Ours is really quite firm for this time of year.

Double entry means only 1 or 2 (or possibly 3 in Harry's case) will run. Has nothing to do with any other competition. At Badminton you technically can run up to 3 horses (but the 3rd is not accepted until the waitlist is cleared). So Tim who has 3 horses 'double entered' will only run 2 of the horses and he will decide closer the time time. Harry who has 5 horses 'double entered' currently can only chose 2 to run but if the waitlist gets cleared then he an bring a 3rd. Hopefully this makes sense! Oliver Townsend is normally one to double enter a lot but this year he hasnt.

She will take him to Luhmuhlen as it’s an easier/ flatter 5*. He is not really a Badminton horse (won when he was held for a long time on the Xc which helped him to cope with the stamina test, he has subsequently been left short on the necessaries when put under a bigger stamina test)

It’s always worked for me too 🤞🏻 Log in to USEF first is the best way.

On Badminton and CMH, the emails I had last week were rather sneakily worded I thought. Worth people checking they’ve not already paid via the auto renewal. I had turned mine off but email wording made it look like I hadn’t.

I'm a bit dissapointed they don't seem to show the drawing of the order anymore (unless it's on CMH & I've just not seen it) - geniunely so entertaining from previous years 🤣

I'm looking forward to going up on the Friday now though :)
 
I only noticed the change to the Badminton TV when I got an email from Paypal yesterday advising that the money had been taken. I did managed to log into CMH to get to the Badminton site (I don't subscribe to CMH) but there isn't much on it at the moment.

I used to really like the old Badminton TV site when you could look back at footage from previous years and also the course preview.

Normally I always go to Badminton for at least one day but can't this year due to work commitments so I will be watching via my laptop.
 
Gutted to see Harry Meade took Graffenacht to Kentucky instead of Badminton! Was looking forward to see them going round.
