At this year's Badminton, the cross-country phase will take place on Sunday, rather than the normal Saturday. Will this change how you watch it? Will you be attending the event, or watching it on red button on BBC, or following it online? And if you choose online would having to pay a small sum (say £5-£10) to watch the live video stream put you off doing so?

I was hoping to go, but I don't think it's going to happen so I'll be glued to my TV instead watching on red button. If it wasn't available on red then I'd consider paying to watch it online, but not with it being free on BBC.

Voted "will not follow" as I'm not actually going, the TV reception is so bad round here that even the red button function doesn't work - and I refuse to pay to watch online (any anyway, my PC at home hasn't got the capacity). If it were on standard BBC however, I would be watching it.

Will definitely be watching on the red button. Thanks for the heads up about the change of day, I hadn't realised. When is the show jumping? Monday?

I will be attending, as usual. I would watch it on TV otherwise - wouldn't pay to watch it online as the quality is never as good as TV (on my poor little lappy, anyway)

Will be there in person as I have done for decades!! Will there be TV coverage on the terrestial channel on Monday (ie SJ and XC) as I can't record off the red button and I like to record and watch in person? TBH you "see" much more on the telly

taking my caravan so staying for the week, cant wait, wish you could record off the red button as sombody else said you do see more off the tv

I cant wait, got a course walk with Sharon Hunt on the Friday and going for the whole event this year. Hopefully it will not rain and the su nwill come out to play

Intending to go - although as I also then drag my 2 dogs around, my shopping activities are severly curtailed. If anyone is going for the shopping then have to say that XC is not the day to do it!

even though i have BBC iplayer, i'll probably pay so that i can watch the whole thing 'live' online. i never go for xc day, can't stand the crowds.

I'll red button it rather than pay, but totally agree regarding the crowds. Will attend SJ day though so we can have a proper play over the XC fences when we walk the course.

Against my better judgement I am going... complete with mother, sister, niece, 3 greyhounds (mine) and 3 cavaliers (one each for mother, sister & niece) :D

As I have no TV I would otherwise watch online or on I-Player somehow :)

Will be attending, usually go for XC & SJ days but with them changing the days, only going for XC. There is no way I want to be travelling home on a Bank Holiday Monday!

I'm going two days this year and for once I'm not paying for either. Me and my friend are volunteering for World Horse Welfare on the Saturday and I've been given tickets for Sunday because I did a feed trial with my pony. However, am on crutches so it could be interesting.

If you're on crutches and it may be uncomfortable walking ring them up, then if it gets too painful you can ride on one of those mobility scooters.
A couple of years ago I dislocated my hip in march, was in hospital on traction for several weeks and then marched around badminton for 4 days, I like to think it strengthend by hip! :p

I will be watching at home this year as I cannot make the event. The days changing would make no difference to my viewing or attending

Once again staying for the duration at B&B just outside Devises (it's worth the 40 minutes travelling - they let us take our dogs ....they even feed and walk them before we manage to drag ourselves out of our beds in the morning!!!!!!)! I'm not into dressage at all so Friday will be my shopping day! Oooh.....my favourite part of the event!

Going down friday night for saturday and sunday, staying in a tent with several other teens and some dogs... will be interesting!

Does anybody know if the Horse & Country online viewing will be available to those overseas? I don't know what I'll do if I can't watch Badminton :o

For the first time ever my sister and I are going to the event!!! Really excited and really pleased about the day change of the XC as thats all we want to see and now its on the Sun it means I dont have to book the day off work :D:D
