I bought a bag of baileys outshine today and noticed when i got home, before opening it it expires on the 25.1.11. bearing in mind a bag of this usually lasts me 3-4 months, do you think im within my rights to ask for my money back or another bag and return this one???

I know its my own fault for having small ponies but even for a larger horse 2 weeks surely is pushing it??

I'd phone them up and discuss it with them... Hopefully you can get a good reduction on it, and I'm sure it will be fine to use beyond its expiry date...

Thanks PennyJ that is exactly what I was going to say! My local place would probably let me have it for half price, it will be fine for a long while after the expiry date in my experience.

you loose the vit and min content hence the expiry date but it won't go off as such. Depends if you are using it for bulk or condition?

The expiry date usually applies mainly to the efficacy of the vit/min inclusion, i.e. they don't guarantee them after that date, the conditioning elements would be fine I think, I'd use it!
