Hey guys
At the moment I am riding with a balance strap to stop myself from releasing the contact, which I seem to be in the habit of doing. I am, however, a cheapskate and have made mine from a bit of bailing twine.
My next dressage test is under BRC rules, and I've checked and confirmed I can continue to use the strap in tests. Do you think I'd get away with just using a bit of brown ribbon tied as my bailing twine currently is, or am I going to have to shell out for a proper leather one?
And if the latter be the case, where on earth can you buy the leather ones!? I've seen people wearing them but never seen them in the shops!
