So after a good 3 months of my boy being lame ( previously had 8 months off last year though not due to lameness) and us trying a range of shoes; pads, pads with filler, pads with frog supports, no pads etc etc. I decided with the support of my vet, to take my wimpy tb barefoot!
We had a few little false alarms with lami. Doing in hand walking. At first I stuck to the school but thought about taking him up the road but it seemed a little too much ( Have been using boots on his fores) and he is currently quite sore behind. Though I am pleased so far with how he is doing.

I know I have the thrush to deal with and he is sore at the moment. But I think we are starting to head in the right direction
