I have just brought a friesian youngster to do Barrel Racing on? What do you think?

You might have better luck asking on the chronicle of the horse forums as there's more barrel racers than on here as most of us are in the UK or Europe here, where barrel racing isn't very popular.

Not quick enough..although they ll enjoy the games aspect I’m sure. Wonder if their upright bearing is the best fit for barrel racing. I am a Friesian owner so genuinely interested how it works out.

I always wanted a horse that had a long neck, long mane, black, long back. I always looked 4 it in cobs. Until I found friesians!

I get mistaken for this nationality A LOT! I’m obsessed with Finland. I went there for a week 4 years ago. I speak Finnish, I love Finland and friesian horses! All apps on my phone are in Finnish. No, but one day I will be!

You should definitely learn Finnish! It’s the best language ever! Stuff like: Kaksikymmentä May look hard but it’s not! ?. Go for it

Counting was the first thing I learnt. It's definitely easier in Finnish than in Danish!

The second puukko that I made turned out badly, so it got the name "Kaksi" (rather than "Toinen").
