Just needed a little bit of luck, no doubt the 'bashers' will be on here later, but I for one think that this is what SAJ is about, perching on the edge of the sofa using hands and heels!!!!
Nearly knocked my wine over!!!!
Oh dear and the Dutch have just fallen down the order....

I agree. I thought the Brits put up a good display and they should all be proud of that performance.
I just hope Ben gets what he deserves in the individual - I'd love him to win a medal.
Still well done to them for 6th Tim and Ben got great results considering the course and Ben is in a great position for individual. Hope I dont forget about it again!

When it comes to the big events the UK has a lot to learn from Europe. I went to Aachen this year, much cheaper tickets but with so much to see. So well thought out too. I love badminton but it's bloody expensive and always feels a bit of a shambles
Oh really. I wouldn't have minded paying that so much, but travel etc would have been lots more - plus I had to be at the vet hospital at 8.20 am to pick up Beans.
Best go back, check on her and give her some more bute now....

£22 for being stuck at the back row in the corner? No thanks - you were looking at £30/£45 for the seats with a decent view
I absolutely agree about the prices being cheaper in mainland Europe. Even were I still in London and in better health I'm not sure I'd have paid the asking prices. And as a non-driver, I'd have had to pay for overnight accommodation as I'd not have been able to get home on Wednesday night. I'd like to think that the powers-that-be will learn their lesson, but I doubt they will. Instead they will probably find excuses for the low turn-out. There were noticeably more spectators for the Dressage.
