BD on a pony as an adult

Been out of the loop for a while, but can you do BD on a pony as an adult? My friend has a lovely new forest that is very capable. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you can I've seen adults competing ponies before at BD

There's even a native pony championship.

sometimes feel a bit out of place but then that’s in your own head. No one ever been anything but nice.

Lots of M&M dressage these days, both breed societies and NPS also BD have details on the website. Just be a bit careful what type the judge favours as some arent too keen on adults riding ponies but most will be encouraging and positive. The warm blood peeps may be a bit cross when you beat them which is quite possible to do. ?

It’s only FEI rules that restrict adults on ponies as they are declared a junior ride. For normal BD inc regionals it’s not a problem.
