I have a 17yyear old cob on loan. He was very unfit and had had a year off recovering from an horendous injury. He came with a stronger headcollar which I think was a be nice. As he was as good as gold when he first came here in September, I sent the headcollar back. Once a week, he does RDA, which involves him being loaded on to a lorry. He was as good as gold at first, but got more and more stubborn(I think because the others squealed at him) The Leader put a be nice on him and, apart from an initial cobby stubbornness, he goes straight in. I am also finding him difficult to pull away from grass etc, as he is a pig! So, should I get one and from where? And, how do you use it? Another point, his owner told me NEVER to tie him up in the stronger headcollar. The Leader called that a load of b......s. All five horses are loaded and tied up with these headcollars. Opinions please.
Another question- I realise I am an old fart, but I am having great difficulty understanding some of your initials. I understand PTS BTW OH IMO etc but LOL has me defeated. Someone said it means lots of love but, if that is the case it makes no sense in some of the posts! Be kind to someone born before mobiles !
