hi,
have never posted in competition forum before as i don't compete but just wanted to ask those of you that do, is it something i could do? Have bought young horse but I am rusty and i need something to aim towards. I have never competed really before ( loads of local shows as a kid but that YEARS ago!). I love cross country (who doesn't!) flat work rusty but sortable, and can pretty comfortably get round about 110 in my rusty state for the show jumping (if I manage to remember the course!)
- can work on that though if need to be jumping higher.
basically, what i am wondering is, what sort of facilities would i need, what sort of training would i need, what sort of hidden costs are there. and basically is this something I could do or am i dreaming!
have trailer to get to places myself, have brilliant instructor to work on dressage and jumping, have young horse that will make great alrounder. Anyone know anything about eventing in my area (wicklow/kildare)
Any comments nice ones please, gratefully recieved!
