Beau. Very sad news

Oh god Goya I'm so, SO sorry to hear about Beau. Can't even begin to understand how you must be feeling.

Sounds like you did the best thing for her. What an awful decision to make though.

I hope that it was peaceful and you guys are all as ok as you could possibly be at this horrific time.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Know that all Beau could have wished for is someone to love her as much as you did. In doing so you gave her everything she needed, even at the end. {{{{hugs}}}}

Thank you all for your words. They mean so much.
I know there are several of you who have gone through this heartbreak recently. Although I have 2 other dogs, the house seems so empty.
I even got 3 treats out at bedtime last night, then it hit me.
Beau really was a special dog. We rehomed her when she was 18 months old and I can say with hand on my heart, that she has never been naughty in any way.
She was my dog of a lifetime.
 
Your post made the tears flow again. I keep getting 3 bowls out, 3 treats at bedtime etc. Saffy wasn't a house dog but her kennel and run is right outside the kitchen window, every time I look up I see the empty space. :( I know from experiencing it far too often that it does get easier, but just now it hurts like hell. Sending you more huge hugs.(())
