Bedmax Quality Issue?

Hello,
Just wondered if others had experienced a declining quality in Bedmax shavings lately? The last few months have been full of very sharp shards of wood. When I have approached Bedmax they have been quite irresponsive, although on pushing for a response I did get some vouchers to replace those unusable bags.

Anybody got any recommendations for big flake shavings that are safe to use? Really not happy with using Bedmax anymore ?

Oh that's a shame. Mine have been the same as normal which is pretty consistent.

I use bedmax or natural flake (I get it from mole valley) no issues with either, both appear to be the same size flake.

It's been a few years since I've used it but that's why I stopped.

When I contacted them they said there had been a machinery issue with the batch I had (have them batch numbers). I think they possibly gave me vouchers for replacement bales. But it kept happening and I'd find all sorts in the bales so I gave up.

Don't know about Bedmax but have noticed that Metsawood Stable Choice are now selling their shavings much looser, still in the same package but not as compact (so therefore not as much product I believe).
