Tee hee- he is booked in with these guys!!!!! HUGE waiting list means he cant be seen till Oct 1st!!!

Was just wondering if there was anything I could do/ person I could see in the mean time!

All the ones I have contacted seem to either be really non commital or chrge upwards of £350 for a one off session!!

Yes - Dogs R Us - she is in Brockham and works with and takes in rescues. Really nice lady and as she is Rottie mad, Dex will seem like a walk in the park! Phaedre is really nice - she will know me by my staffies Blaze and Tara in Brockham.

I used this trainer for my puppy training and further classes. She also does behaviour training one to one sessions. She is really nice and works on a reward basis. Our dogs really like her. Some of the dogs in our later classes had specific problems that she helped them with in separate one on one sessions before the dogs started group classes.

Very very interesting consultation with her tonight- Pavlov here we come..... and Dex thinks she is the most amazing person ever for coming armed with sausage, and she in turn loves a Bull breed!

Indeed..... but for not reacting to other dogs... as in see doggie, click treat (aslong as it is far enough away that he hasnt gone nuts)- so clicker is ONLY for dog sightings......

I was trying to teach 'quiet' last week as if another dog ignores him or decides playtime is over he will go BARKY BARKY BARK in the other dog's face, not cool.
So BARKY BARKY BARK 'QUIET' when he is silent for a few seconds, click and reward.
Little sod then figured 'When I bark, I get yummies!!!!' BARKY BARKY BARK!
Little sod went back into his crate for an hour....

I was trying to explain the futility of that to our trainer on Wednesday. Ricoh whinges if you ignore him, as in a down stay when I am purposely not making eye contact with him as he will wag his tail and whine pathetically rolleyes, so she suggested introducing 'QUIET!' and treating for silence.

We had the same result, aWooOoOoOwow, silence, treat, AWOOOWOOOWOOO! silence, despair.
