YO brings all her horses under a lean to field shelter against a barn. They have concrete or mud underfoot. I let mine come 'in' once during extreme weather a couple of weeks ago and he was wetter than ever in the morning and clearly hadn't been allowed under the shelter by the others.
He has enough grass, a couple of slices of hay, solid ground underfoot, a daily feed, a large hedge and a 350 gram rug on...
Don't like feeling guilt tripped.
