ive just sold one! I did look like a pea o a mountain on him, but i never felt like it. He was a total dude even though i coundnt get my arms round his neck to hug him...
he was massively fat when he came to us but wit no lami issues or worries for future. He went on a massive diet and lost a teenytiny bit. i think the air must have had calories in it when he breathed. Lovely comfortable ride.

I rode one once. I found the trot very difficult as it was so huge, I struggled with rising but sitting would have been impossible. Canter was wonderful, really was like sitting in an armchair. This one's temperament wasn't the best, not nasty but not really people-orientated and tended to be bolshy. She was in an out and trashed her stable, even down to knocking fittings from the wall. She preferred to live out I was left with the impression that the breeders bred for meat, not for a good ridden temperament. I'm sure there are exceptions.
