What are the best bridle brands which allow you to mix and match sizes for headpiece/cheekpieces etc with a padded shaped headpiece? My 16.1h horse's current full size bridle is slightly too big, so want a new mainly cob sized bridle but with a full size headpiece!

I liked the look of the Kate Negus bridles, but unfortunately they've got brass buckles - I'm very fussy prefer the look of steel ones! Not worried about price, would rather invest in something good quality.

English bridles will make up a bridle for you if you send them measurements (details of how/what to measure on their website). Bridles are good quality for a sensible price.

I’ve just ordered the same from Sabre. I phoned and they talked through what to measure and then what to order based on the measurements.

Yep I've had excellent service from sabre in the past. They also did some bespoke reins for me, very quick turnaround too.

I have just placed an order for an fss bridle via a seller on ebay cos I wanted something a bit fancy this time... they've been very accommodating to my fussy requests so hopefully the result will be a good one. They don't advertise this as a service but were really helpful.always worth asking.

I'm still using parts of my FSS bridle and I like it a lot (only swapped parts out because of changing bit & noseband requirements).

English Bridles. Lovely quality, reasonably priced, friendly people and you can have pretty much anything you want.
