Heffalump has very sensitive skin, I've just had to do a full clip today as he was moulting like mad, getting scabby etc. If left anymore and I would have had to get him sedated to clip.

He doenst like the vibration on certain parts of his body, so I am looking at those are low in this aspect.

I have the lister star battery ones, I'm not that impressed. They get hot very easily and they are only a few years old.

My old worsley swift ones were amazing, I just find them heavy now.

Any recommendations?

I got some Liveryman Black Beauty clippers last year and I am very impressed with them.
I have the battery pack ones but they also come with a mains cord.
You can turn the speed down using a little dial on the handset which means you can make them slow and quiet over sensitive areas. My TB is pretty thin skinned and gets a bit antsy in some places so this really made it easy for him to accept.

They stay pretty cool and have good battery life, I'm so pleased with them. I had liveryman corded clippers before so have loads of sets of blades but they were sooo noisy (mustangs) and blew hair everywhere, these are so comfortable by comparison.
