Hi all, i've been having a few issues with my 5 month old springer, he's taken to stealing food of the work tops.. i've just spoken to his breeder (a REALLY good friend of mine) and she asked what food he was on, i said he's now of bakers puppy as he LOVES it. She doesn't think he's getting what he needs out of that food and recons its like the "mcdonald's food" of the puppy world..
So.. can anyone suggest a good food for a 5 month old still growing springer pup?
Want to sort it out now, as he started a fire in my kitchen the other day and don't want a replay of that event - puppy jumped up to cooker and turned on the hobs, on top of the hob was a freshly made dundee cake - soaked in whiskey/brandy.. and wham, cake burns and ends up on fire = smoked out kitchen and lounge and big flames.
BAD PUPPY
... btw, he's walked for AT LEAST 1 hour a day, and is hardly EVER left on his own, he always has the company of the other dogs.
