As above
I have safe riders, love them because I know in an emergency I am safe
Do you know, in 50 years of riding, I've never thought about stirrups at all?
For me, they've always been whatever's at the end of the leathers of the saddle my bum's on at the time, and somewhere to rest my toes ...
What am I missing here?!![]()
Not sure sorry mine are fairly wide they fit my boots with lots of space to spareI like the look of these and the cost seems very reasonable but I cant find any indication of sizing on their website - do you know are they all just 'one size fits all'and if so what that size is please?
This!You’re not broken anywhere!
I’m so old fashioned, I’ve never used anything but standard normal stirrups.
Do people notice a difference with these fancy types?
I use Icelandic wide tread stirrups with wide treads and cages because I ride fast over rough ground and it enables me to dig my feet in safely. My horse is also prone to rapid and unannounced sideways movement and they help me stay on when she does it.
