Best way/ place to sell a saddle

I usually sell my saddle through a saddler however the saddler I'm using only deals with their own brand of saddle and so I need to sell mine myself. Where's the best place to sell saddles now and any tips and advice?

What kind of saddle?

I've sold them via Facebook, preloved and eBay most recently.

Take LOADS of photos and send using an insured courier would be main advice.

I've got a dressage and jumping - don't want to say which make etc in case it counts as advertising. Was it facebook marketplace or just a group? I'm a bit daunted by the whole thing, which sounds a bit stupid really but I've just never done it before. Did you find one of them was easier than the others to sell them?

There's a few Facebook groups, saddles for sale and wanted is quite a busy one. Some of them are brand specific (off the top of my head Wow and The Saddle Company, there's a native pony and cob second hand page.

Then of course preloved and ebay
