Hello,
Does anyone know which parts of the 'Ride Horses over Fences' are compulsary for passing stage 3? In my recent exam (I have not yet received the results) I didnt measure out the strides between related fences and the assessors picked up on this and then questioned me on how the course compared riding to walking it. I didnt actually count how many strides I got between the related fences and waffled quite badly in my answer.
My second problem was that I didnt notice that the cheek piece was twisted and the assessor had to stop me to correct it during the jump warm up. However, I think I did ride the course quite well (and the cross country also went really well) so I am mainly worried about part 1.1 from the syllabus (Be able to walk show jumping and cross county courses) and the fact that I didnt check the tack properly. Does anyone know whether this would be enough for a fail?
I would greatly appreciate some insight on this or if anyone knows how many 'crosses' one is allowed on the result sheet etc.
Many thanks for your help!
