just been charged £40 for one. Not happy, but I'm a captive market at the moment, and YO rather had me over a barrel. :(

I've just paid £35 a bale, fortunately I bought a few bales straight off the field but even that was £30 a bale, as you say it's a captive market at the moment and the weather hasn't been kind again this year

I pay £35 a big bale and normally get 4 each winter to last 1 horse and 1 pony untill March time depending on the weather. If you get a few in then if you dont use them sell as previous years hay to someone next year.

If any of you know where i can get round bales in Herts, Beds or Bucks please can you let me know??
I'm trying to get some as the prices have dropped a bit...if only i could get at those prices!
