Possibly a stupid question...
Ive got a tb who had pretty bad hooves when I got him. I've been giving him a biotin supplement and his hooves have improved massively, but I'm now wondering if I need to continue with the biotin supplement, or if brewers yeast would be as good?
The biotin is combined with calcium, but I have changed his diet, so he is getting a lot of calcium in his feed already.
I know that brewers yeast is a good source of B vitamins, so does that include biotin?
Also, how much would I expect to need to feed to a 550kg horse?
Thanks
