Haven't posted on here for quite some time as everything has been a bit chaotic.

Since coming back to riding after my accident I got back playing horseball with my trusty steed Sam and had been fighting to get Tiger's feet in a fit state to join us on the team.

With Brian I had been enjoying a bit of Quest dressage and even a successful foray into the world of showing but all the time fighting my stupid immunity problems which led to big gaps in riding.

We stumbled across another horse who was literally diverted off the meat wagon onto my horsebox and she has blossomed and even attended her first show, winning the thoroughbred class. We have named her Dodge, as in burger dodger.

Brian also had his first go at Team Chasing and surprised us all with a faultless round.

Shortly after this I made the decision to move Tiger and Brian to a new yard after a member on here sent me a pm out of the blue. I love it there and have been having a wonderful time with the horses adventure hacking in the woods in the dark and even jumping for the first time since my accident.

More joy followed when Sam gained a runner up in the ROR horseball horse of the year and I managed to get Tiger sorted to play on him at the Open Championships. He loved it and it was so special.

Sadly, just over a week later Tiger had a horrendous accident in the field and had to be put to sleep. After so many wonderful years of adventures it's taking some getting over. He was just the toughest, most talented and special horse that made my dreams come true. Not always easy to love but impossible not to admire.

I'm battling forwards though with the help of my super yard who are doing amazing things for my confidence and happiness.

Last weekend we paraded at Aintree racecourse which was really special and Brian and Lloyd did a great job showcasing horseball to the public and were great stand in.

Onwards and upwards and hopefully I will have more to report soon!

Gosh, what a busy (and happy and sad) time - chaotic doesn't quite seem to be quite the right word! The photos are wonderful, such lovely horses and a real credit to you :)

I saw on another thread that you'd lost one of your horses - very sorry xx

They really are all a credit to you - the transformation in the photos above is fantastic.

Such lovely photos, your horses are amazing. Well done on your award and all the other adventures!

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, I don't think I can imagine how hard it must have been for you. He had such a fun and fulfilling life with you.

Thanks Wimbles, I'm now crying at my desk, again.....

Mostly tears of sadness for the loss of the amazing Dubai Tiger, he certainly was a horse in a million!

But also tears of happiness for you, you are an amazing horsewoman, have super super horses and I'm loving being part of your journey!
