I woke up this morning with all these bites over me, three down my left leg and two on my stomach.

The only thing I can assume is that I was bitten at the yard last night in the field and then I noticed them on waking this morning. They are itching like crazy so I've been treating with anti histamine.

Partner has stripped the bed as we have used different conditioner so can't rule that out but it feels like an insect bite. I lay on top of the bed last night as it was so hot, so its possible its a mosquito that bit me but had a night shirt on that reaches down to just above my knee.

I've been getting similar. I don't think mine are at the yard though, I'm pretty sure something is biting me at night. They tend to be on my arms and ankles, i.e. the bits that stick out from under the sheet! They're incredibly itchy but thankfully not for too long.

I've been bitten by those horrible little black-flies. NOT horse-flies so much this year, but these vile things have really targeted me.

Daren't wear shorts, have to be in long trousers in this heat; and just now when went to get pony in for the physio something bit me again, on the elbow.

Have also got red heat-rash on my legs and ankles are all swollen up.

Can't wait for this weather to dissipate; am struggling just to keep the horses cool and content right now.

I feel proper gross, all I'm doing is scratching at the moment, they are incredibly itchy.

Even the anti histamine cream doesn't appear to be working.

You want the plug in insect killer. A plate heats up a blue tablet which kills them. We started using them abroad when camping, and use them in the bedroom at night, and we can leave the windows open. They are widely available, and we buy replacement tablets on line, cheaper then in the shop. Mind I would not use them if I had a fish tank in the bedroom, and I do not know about small rodents.

So I got bitten again sometime during the night, another red mark with white central circle. We found what we thought were two mosquitos in the corners of the room and sprayed them with Jungle Formula and thought that was the end of it, but again I found a new bite this morning on my leg.

Partner leaves the window open when he gets home from work with the blind open although we have a net curtain. But spare bedroom window always open so they might be getting through that way.

So frustrating. Going to get a plug in insect killer tomorrow on my day off and some bug spray too. Then go over every inch of the room!
