I have been having a problem with my horse recently with schooling. He works through his back lovely and really track ups, goes of my legs beautifully, its the stopping thats the problem.
When i ask him him stop from my seat he will but it takes a few seconds so i give him a check with the bit and then a few seconds after this he will stop. Its just not the sharpness that i would like him to have.
Im having a bit of a dilema as to what to use because anything too strong he doesnt like, and obviously i dont want anything that is too light.
He is currently in a french link loose ring. I have tried happy mouths...no good, having a hanging cheek doesnt make any difference, i have bought a myler before and he really didnt like that either!
any ideas? I need something with a thin mouthpiece because he has a small mouth and a huge tounge
