Chico was up to something really bizarre today.
When i got to the yard after work he was already in his stable with a cotton sheet on, not usual.
Apparently he was turned out at 10am his usual boisterous self but then a bit later was witnessed behaving rather odd.
He was galloping up to the gate across the field, stopping at the gate rearing vertical then throwing himself down on the ground and lying there for a minute then getting up and doing it all over again, about 5 times.
Was told he wasnt going down like a normal roll but literally diving onto the floor.
They bought him in around 1:30pm and said he slept quietly stood with his bum to the stable door and no-one heard a peep out of him.
By the time i got there at 4:30pm he was back to his normal jolly self, very pleased to see me and eager for his dinner.
My vet arrived at the yard for another horse so i mentioned it but she wasnt concerned.
Anyone else experienced this?
(haagen dazs and chocolate fudge cake to all who read to the end!!)
