black or havana?

what colour tack do you lean to?
including the tans and the newer burgundy etc.?

I have some black from the late 80's or 90's when I was younger and it became sooo fashionable, but am only buying havana again these days...whats fashionable in the noughties?

Voted for black as that's what I use on my black horse, but if she was any other colour I'd choose a nice dark havana.

I stick to black as I find the interpretation of havana or tan varies from brand to brand and I am always mixing and matching my kit

ive got bays and chestnuts andwhen i look at old pics of chestnut in black it just looks so wrong to me now

and i loved that tack when i got it!

I put black as I have black for my piebald cob and black for my wb dressage tack but proper 'old' havana gp tack for my boy!!

it absolutely does, even within brands, i have some jeffries bridles in traditional havana

which is a different colour to their modern havana in their falcon range

black, because there is only 1 colour of black so everything matches, but in brown there are many types of brown so hardly anything matches!

i do think it also depends on the riders discipline since dressage peeps seem to like their black, showing peeps havana

could be the cheap stuff, ive got an army issue double bridle from WWI and its lovely still (dead soft as well!)

Well I voted Havanna - but I have black tack. That's because the only saddle which fitted Star was black. I would have preferred Havanna. Compromises.

I LOVE tan tack but since i'm dressaging now, it's black for me!

I love London Tan - it matures so beautifully and suits every colour horse.

I loathe black as it always goes a horrible greenish colour as it ages and loses it's dye.

Havana - I've always bought havana and always will buy havana. I think it looks the best on horses no matter what thier colouring
