What a fantastic pony! i was thinking exactly the same as magic Magpie when I saw the photos - he could have a serious career in affiliated pony showjumping too. I love a good Connemara. Who is he by?

For those that don't know, poor Dionne had to withdraw her horse from the 1*, but was BIG enough to offer to help us on Cross country day in the '10 minute box' - and I could not have done without her!!! :grin That is what I call real sportsmanship, and I can't thank her enough!
Incidentally - Dionne we still have a sweat scraper of yours.......... Will we see you soon? So I can return it!!! I hope so!!!

Looks like he'd jump intermediates? I'd let your daughter carry on with him if you think he might. I've had a couple of 15.2s and now have a 14.2 again because I've realised size really doesnt matter, it's scope and attitude that do!

WOW he really does have a huge amount of Scope, surely he could jump around an Intermediate, might pay you to hold on to him for a bit longer!? I LOVE him!

HE HAS!!! Jumped clear round the only 2 Intermediates we have done!!!
At Eglinton this year he also jumped clear round the Sj, but just before going in had an unfortunate argument with the practice jump, got the pole between his legs, came down on his knees - shot rider over his head!! Then had to go straight in!!!
Understandably, he was not as confident as he might have been, and it was a full up, rather 'airy' course, so when she got it wrong at one, she sort of pulled him up and got 4 jumping 4 time - such a shame. However, he steamed round the X-C afterwards, taking it all in his stride!!! Such a little star!!
SO tempted just to keep him, but would really hate to push him over his limit, because he just loves it. She is a teeny tiny bit big on him now?!!!
