Just going on Sat. Planning to try and meet up with all my normal Blair buddies one last time, if I can get a signal on my phone

I'd heard that Scone was going to happen, then that it was just a rumour, but very glad to hear it confirmed!

The instructions for competitors are that you should go up to Bruar and head back to the event from that end so turning off at Pitlochry won't work if you're competing. They try to keep the lorries etc from going through Blair Atholl village.

We arrived this afternoon, it's been a little showery but not too bad. However, the forecast tomorrow isn't good sadly.

I’m a terrible human then because I’ve always taken the lorry through the village… oops!

Yeah you can pay at the gate

You can take the train from Pitlochry to Blair, or sooner at Perth, if you’re worried about mud or queues. Maybe not an option for a major shopping day though.

Thanks very much for the timings Barton Bounty! Im heading down Saturday to watch the XC mainly. Hoping its not super muddy especially for the car parking... can anyone advise? Wanted to take my little car but now thinking Ill have to take the 4x4.

Really strange to think its the last one. I wonder if Scone will be able to have it on the same scale as Blair, it certainly lacks the hills from what I remember for the XC.
