I've left my guys in for the time being as the wind is absolutely howling! My bins were blowing across the yard at 6am and when I fed the horses looked at me as if to say "Don't even THINK about putting us out in this!"

I've mucked out around them and left them to their nets - hoping to put them out later on when the wind dies down a bit... what's the weather like for you guys?

Hi Kate,

Its really windy here too, overcast and miserable - it definately feels like winter is on its way now

Danny and Tia are still in munching hay - but they will have to cope with the wind shortly because they have a very mean nasty mummy who will be putting them out!

LOL! Gem - mean mummy indeed!

I will also be turning mine out - but this morning was a little bit too wild for mine!

I hope it calms down Kate - roll on spring indeed!

Very still here, bit misty (when you live above a river valley it usually is in the mornings!). For the past few weeks it has been mild and then really quite hot in the afternoons - usually around 25/26 degrees, bit of an Indian summer we are having.

Very windy here in Norfolk too, mine are in atm munching on hay but will be going out in a bit. Not sure if they're in more for my benefit - I've got a cold and need to poo-pick their field before they go out so am just gathering energy to go out in the cold properly!!

My four at home are out 24/7 so they are out in it. I have to say that riding them in it would be a nightmare. Roll on surface and windbreak fencing

Extreeeeeeeeeeeeeemley windy here in the East Mids.
I'm a horrid mummy and have chucked mine out but they don't seem to mind. Dogs seem more spooked by it.
May give riding a miss though if it keeps up, more worried about trees coming down cos they've got so many leaves on.

blowing a gale here too, mine are all out in it and resigned to it. they're all currently playing "chase the hay" across the field...

LOL! Great way to keep them fit!

Mine are all out now - have been for a while - they don't seem to mind it now... Typical horses eh?

I was a chicken and rode in the indoor this morning lol
Winston went out first and zoomed around the field. Didnt settled until Snoop went out with him.
But neither boys looked too put out being out in it.
Just glad Im home in the warm now.
Got home to find the umbrella, table, chairs strewn across the garden and a broken statue which normally I wouldn’t mind, but dad bought it for me

Hey ho, cheese and toast sarnies for lunch methinks
