can anyone tell me how long sedalin or acp stay in the horses blood for ? also the same for bute ?

im having problems with a new horse (ive owned her 3 months now) and someone told me to get her blood tested.

There is a drug called modecate that is for horses on box rest that lasts for upto 3 months.

did you have her vetted when you bought her? usually bloods are taken with a vetting and are kept for 6 months by the vet. you can request them to be tested.

yes i did have her vetted, but it was a week from when i tried her, to when i got her vetted (if that makes sense), so just wondering, if she was given bute or acp when i tried her, would it have been out of her blood when she was vetted a week later ???????????

should be able to pick it up. \gets the bloods spun and give the vet your reasons for wanting it done so they know exactly what to look for.
