Its 26 degrees over here in Lincolnshire, its muggy as hell horrible, horrible type of warmth NO SUN !

Im off with a chest infection :( so makes breathing even harder but went out to top waters up and noticed both Dolly and Tess had sweat drenched all over their legs and boobies, they have shade but as its muggy its not helping !

Neighbours Thoroughbloody type boy was exactly the same and looked sorry for himself, so for the first time in ages i grabbed some water and sponge to cool them both off ! Tess hates baths and shuffles but stood still for this, didnt have to hold her ! clearly enjoyed it and Dolly was exactly the same must be boiling with her fluffy coat :(

Whats it like near you ? anyone else wielding suncream for pink noses and sponges lol ?

I came in soaked from poo picking in the muggy weather last night; it felt like I was in a rain forrest!

Unfortunately I don't cope well with the heat since my head injury, and I'm not allowed in the sun, so I am hiding inside a lot at the mo :(

It's boiling here 25 but really muggy! Have had great fun attacking the ponies with a hose pipe though!
Bit to hot for my liking!

It's hot here in Hereford too, I'm not complaining though! Was even happy to be bitten by the first horse fly of the year, could summer FINALLY be here?!?! :D :D

I agree ! I would luurve to give grease ball tess a bath but juggling a stroppy hot mare and a baby AND a hosepipe might be difficult so stuck with a sponge :D
Same in the north east. Hot, sticky but not sunny :( dressage lesson later is not going to be fun :o

Oh yikes ! don't envy you at all.... Enjoy ;):D

sunny and muggy in Tamworth, we have the windows open in the office and overlook some nice shady tress - I wouldnt want to work out back in the factory though, I've been out there a couple of times today and its very stuffy despite the roof fans. We have another factory with furnaces - I am so glad Im not there today!

May go and get everyone an ice lolly :)

its boiling here too.....bits of sun mixed with cloud, the legs are out :D and the sun cream and fly masks with noses are on the horses, the mares are flat out in their stables and even lami pony is keeping his fly mask on (we are being very brave and trusting him to wear one as a few years ago he used to get his hoof caught in it trying to get it off!)

And I got nice a sweaty poo picking this morning.

thought the Box Resting TB is annoyed the others get to enjoy the sun where he only gets bits while being grazed in hand morning and night:rolleyes::cool:

In south Devon it is.....

Sunny, bit hazy and 22 degrees in the coolest, shadiest part of the garden. Bet the poor hosses are roasting :( Going to drag them in for a cool-down soon.

Very humid here too.

Not nice for them is it :( All this changing weather

Rightyo im off to sit in the garden with a nice glass of cough medicine ;)

Overcast and muggy here, I've been wiping my box rested one with a wet cloth the last few days as he's a hot bod and can sweat up quite easily standing still, bet he's having a nice time dozing and coating himself in poo though!

so hot decided to defer exercise to evening when (hopefully) it will be cooler.
;)
....i would pick the first HOT weekend to blitz the stables and completely empty them

think i'll go out and give my girlies a bath after lunch...anything to get out of revision for last GCSE exam :D

wish i could bring my girls in to stables to cool off but they are wooden with black, plastic roofs making them individual ovens :(

Was really sunny and hot earlier, now muggy and very grey almost stormy feeling. Hope the storms hold off until I've got round to ride my friends cob tonight. Not planning on doing a lot though, he's such a hefty I don't think he'd thank me for making him all hot and sweaty when it's soooo humid.

Not able to get home at lunchtime, so v. much hoping that my SI boy hasn't overheated too badly in his bug rug and mask.

26 degrees here in warwickshire. Going to the yard in a bit to give the black mare some shade time and a bath.

Perfect today, sunshine, slight breeze and only 20C.

My pink nosed horses come inside during the day ;) Otherwise it is Banana Boat Factor 100.
